TEMPERATURE CONTROL+

In industrial production processes, temperature control is vital to the success of chemical process reactions and the quality of the final product. Our company develops various types of temperature control systems.

  • Forced convection ovens

    The forced convection heating systems result in significant heat exchange with uniform temperature distribution and no risk of product alteration. The ovens can be electrically powered with liquid or gaseous fuel, water, diathermic oil or steam.

  • Radiant ovens

    Uniform infrared heating which can be precisely modulated has the advantage of very fast startup times and equally low thermal inertia if switched off or in an emergency. Radiant systems can be constructed using infrared radiant electric elements (low thermal power) or infrared catalytic panels (high thermal power) powered by natural gas.

  • Industrial thermostatic booths

PURIFICATION+

  • Bag filter dedusting

    Bag filter dedusting guarantees that regulatory emission limits are complied with a high filter regeneration capacity which remains constant in the long term. Selecting suitable material depends on the dust to be treated and if other pollutants are present or not; to guarantee good operating of the dedusting unit, Colzani G. e M. Impianti helps its customers to select the most suitable type of system. The dust can be collected by being discharged into metal containers, big bags, containers or screw conveyors.

  • Cartridge dedusting

    Cartridge dedusting takes place by filtering the emissions to be treated on filter elements that are more complex than bag filters and have a larger unit surface area. Regeneration using various types of cleaning system: with rotating nozzles or the increasingly widely used PULSE JET type that uses bursts of countercurrent compressed air with fullflow timed valves. Although it has the advantage of reducing dimensions and therefore the cost of the filtering units, the use of cartridges must be limited to dry, nonclogging dusts.

  • Automatic winding rotary filters

    These are used for difficult applications, for example, filtering glue vapours or highly clogging dusts. The flat filter is wound from a reel that houses the filter media roller only when the filter matting is completely clogged and is controlled by a differential pressure gauge.

  • Cyclones

    The removal of dusts passing over the cyclone is effective for a wide range of particle sizes. It is normally used as a first stage in purification and also guarantees that the filter lasts longer.

  • Scrubbers

    Scrubbers are washing towers used to remove volatile compounds, especially acids and bases. The air flow to be treated is conveyed onto a filter media bed in plastic or ceramic material and comes into contact with the abatement solution (water or acidic/basic aqueous cleaning solutions) flowing in the opposite direction (but also in the same direction or in crossflow) which captures the pollutants.

  • Activated carbon adsorption

    When the pollutant that has to be removed is a chemical in the air in the form of vapour, it can be removed through adsorption by passing over o bed of adsorbent material, normally activated carbon in granular or powder form. The carbons can be regenerated (granular carbon) or simply replaced (powder carbon).

  • Electrostatic filters

    In electrostatic filters, the air to be treated crosses through a very high potential electric field which is created between the charging electrode and the collection electrode that have opposite charges. The ionised particles join the neutral particles in the mixture to be treated and are therefore attracted by a plate with an opposite sign charge. As soon as they come into contact with the plate, they lose their charge and can be easily removed by washing, vibration or simply gravity.
